About us
Max Boll Maschinen- und Stahlbau GmbH & Co. KG is a mid-sized manufacturing company founded in 1964 and based in Steinen-Höllstein in the tri-border region of Germany, France and Switzerland. As a supplier and 'extended workbench' for industry, the company produces welded constructions and assemblies in structural steelwork, machines individual parts, small series and prototypes on NC and CNC machines in its own turning and milling shops, and manufactures in its own equipment division high-performance band saws (VOGTMANN), soil shredders (RAPIDO) and drum screening machines (SIEBMEISTER) as one-off production. Materials processed include steels including the fine-grain steel Hardox, stainless steel, aluminium and alloys; the parts spectrum ranges from 0 to 5 tonnes, and by agreement up to 10 tonnes. As a certified welding company with a Large Welding Certificate, the company manufactures to EN 1090-2 (EXC 1–EXC 3). In addition to manufacturing, Max Boll offers assembly, metalworking services, plant overhauls, as well as maintenance, repairs, spare parts and a sharpening service for its own equipment.

As a certified welding company with a Large Welding Certificate, Max Boll manufactures welded constructions to EN 1090-2 (EXC 1–EXC 3) with in-house production control. The VOGTMANN band saws have been tested by the employers' liability insurance association and carry the GS and CE marks.
