MAX FRANKE GmbH is an owner-managed Hamburg family business in its third generation that develops, plans and produces luminaires and lighting solutions for retail. The portfolio includes surface-mounted, add-on and recessed luminaires, linear luminaires and pendant luminaires, which are manufactured on the company's own tools and to order – supplemented by individual custom solutions. In addition to luminaire manufacturing, the company takes overall responsibility for lighting: lighting concept and luminaire development, lighting planning per store branch in AutoCAD including lighting calculations, sampling at the Point of Light as well as just-in-time delivery throughout Europe and on-site alignment of the luminaires. Customers are international retail brands from the fashion, health & beauty, children, lifestyle and book retail sectors, including Deichmann and Thalia. Every year, more than 500,000 luminaires leave the plant in Hamburg-Osdorf; around 1,500 store branches are illuminated per year.
