About MKM Keramik

Max Krüger GmbH & Co. KG (MKM Keramik) has been manufacturing ceramic packaging in stoneware at its Moschheim site in the Westerwald since 1963. From Westerwald clay, ceramic jugs, ceramic pots and clay bottles are produced for the beverage, food and cosmetics industries, including for beer, spirits, wine, cooking oil, mustard, pâtés and cosmetics. Production includes in-house raw material preparation, the manufacture of natural glazes and firing of the stoneware at around 1,200 °C, making the products dense, dimensionally stable and strong even without glaze. Series production is fully automated on self-developed production systems; according to the company, it is also the only company in the world to manufacture screw closures for ceramic bottles industrially in large series. The products are food-safe, acid- and alkali-resistant, microwave-suitable, offer 100 percent light protection and are designed for automatic filling on conventional systems and for vacuum-tight closure. Individualization is done via ceramic screen printing or labeling. The company delivers worldwide and maintains a certified energy management system.
