About Tandem Acoustics
Tandem Acoustics is a brand of Max Q Holzmarketing GmbH based in Lahr (Baden-Württemberg). The mid-sized company specializes in the micro-perforation of wood and acoustic panels and manufactures elements for decorative room acoustics on walls, ceilings and furniture. The panels are made of melamine, through-coloured MDF or veneer (including oak); micro-fine hole channels (0.5 mm hole spacing, 137,174 holes/m²) preserve the original visual aesthetic of the surface while the elements act as broadband absorbers. Absorption class A (alphaW 0.90) is TÜV-tested. Since January 2022 the elements have also been available with individual digital printing; the process is patented. Customers include joiners and carpentry shops, furniture manufacturers, architects, interior fitters and acousticians; as a reference project, the ceiling of a dental practice in Radolfzell was realized. Data sheets and tender texts for architects are provided by the company in the download area.
