About Weishaupt

Max Weishaupt SE is a family-owned medium-sized energy technology company headquartered in Schwendi (Baden-Württemberg) with over 4,400 employees worldwide. The product portfolio includes gas, oil and dual-fuel burners from compact burners from 12.5 kW up to industrial burners with 32,000 kW (also in marine version), gas and oil condensing systems of the Thermo Condens series (15 to 620 kW, cascadable up to 2480 kW), air, brine and water/water heat pumps with the refrigerant R290, large-scale solar systems as well as drinking water and energy storage units. All burners are manufactured at the parent plant in Schwendi; further production takes place in Switzerland (Pyropac AG, Sennwald). Materials used include aluminium/silicon sand casting for heat exchangers, stainless steel and aluminium. The Group also includes the subsidiaries Neuberger Gebäudeautomation GmbH (Rothenburg ob der Tauber) and Baugrund Süd Gesellschaft für Geothermie mbH (Bad Wurzach) with more than 40 drilling rigs, more than 20,500 systems and well over 3 million drilled metres. Around 100 technicians and engineers work at the company's own research and development center in Schwendi to bring new heating technology to production readiness.
