About MAXImolding
MAXImolding! Technology GmbH is the inventor and manufacturer of application-specific reactors for processing metal chips and for producing semi-solid magnesium melt directly at a metal injection molding machine, horizontal or vertical. Based on the patented SSM-SIMA process, the melt is produced on demand from magnesium chips in a closed process at 480–580 °C; the reactor replaces melting, transport, holding and dosing furnaces as well as the melt transfer robot. The portfolio includes retrofit reactors for cold chamber high-pressure die casting machines, complete turnkey casting cells including robotics, tool heat treatment, chip handling and vacuum systems, as well as consulting, design, technology transfer, licensing, custom X-ray systems and automation of casting lines. Components with individual weights of 0.75 to 75 kg can be manufactured from magnesium alloys such as AZ91. Target industries are mobility (land, sea, air), consumer electronics and general industry; customers are light metal foundries. The goal of the technology is the decarbonization of light metal foundries through electrical process heat, renewable energy and reduced energy and material consumption. The company is based in Teisendorf in Bavaria and is a partner in the ZIM cooperation network DigiGuss.
