MAXX SOLAR & ENERGIE GmbH & Co. KG is a company for renewable energy systems founded in 2008 in Waltershausen (Thuringia). With around 90 employees and its own installation and service teams, the company plans, installs and maintains customised photovoltaic systems from balcony power units to megawatt-scale solar parks – on roofs, facades and open spaces, as AGRI-PV or solar fences. The service portfolio also includes AI-supported battery storage, charging infrastructure from wallbox to fast-charging park, solar carports as well as heat pumps and infrared heaters. In addition, the company offers maintenance, repair, monitoring and technical operations management for new and existing systems as well as a wholesale business. Customers are private households, commercial and industrial businesses, the housing industry, agriculture and investors in Thuringia. In total, more than 7,000 systems have been installed; in 2010 the company became the first base of the recycling organisation PV-Cycle in Thuringia and Saxony.
