Mayer & Co Beschläge GmbH (MACO) is a family-run manufacturer of window, door and sliding door hardware based in Salzburg. The portfolio includes tilt-and-turn hardware (MACO Multi Matic), lift-slide and parallel-slide hardware (RAIL SYSTEMS), door locks and multipoint locking systems (PROTECT), window handles (EMOTION) as well as intelligent sensor solutions such as Sense by MACO and the door locking system Instinct by MACO. The products are used for frames made of aluminium, PVC and wood. Window hardware production takes place in Salzburg and Trieben, door lock production in Mauterndorf; all manufacturing sites have in-house testing departments with first-article inspection, normative durability testing and surface inspection. In addition, MACO offers support from design to installation via Service Solutions: Digital Service (eCat, MACO Win, BIM, Data, Shop, EDI), Norm Service (RC burglar resistance RC 1–4, CE conformity, TBDK) and Product Service (Pre-Assembly, Assembly Tools). Every manufactured component undergoes a first-article inspection (dimensional check); function-critical components are subjected to normative durability tests, supplemented by surface inspections and in-house testing departments in Trieben and Mauterndorf. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001; product-related ift quality marks exist (QM 328, QM 342, QM 346, QM 347, QM 314), as well as KOMO and VdS approvals.
