Mayer Group – three sites, one vision
Mayer Group is a family-owned plastics processing company with three specialised sites in Laichingen, Heroldstatt and Münsingen. Founded in 1973 as a toolmaking shop for injection moulds, the company today offers the entire value chain from a single source: consulting and development with CAD/CAM and Moldflow simulations, tool and mould making, 1K and 2K injection moulding, overmoulding of metal inserts, as well as painting, pad printing, hot stamping, leather covering and soft-touch finishing. Injection moulding clamping forces from 50 to 1,700 tonnes are available, from small series to mass production with robot-assisted full automation. Standard and high-performance plastics as well as recycled plastics are processed. Production and assembly are supported by 3D metrology, first-sample processes according to VDA and automated camera inspection. Customers come from the automotive industry, camping and caravanning, commercial and transport vehicles, mechanical engineering, the electrical industry, safety technology and filtration technology; logistics includes just-in-time and just-in-sequence deliveries.
