MB Maschinenbau GmbH from Herford designs, develops and distributes sanding and special-purpose machines for the wood and metal industries. The family-run company was founded in 1994 by Ronald Busch and manufactures machines for surface, profile, edge and structure sanding, cleaning and deburring machines, double-end profilers, gluing machines and conveyor technology. Particularly well known is the patented ROBA Tech surface sanding machine with a rotating brush belt sanding system and a sanding area of approx. 1300 x 1500 mm. In its own innovation and production building in Herford, the company offers an exhibition room and a sanding center for customer sanding trials, which can be followed live via video technology. In addition to the wood and furniture industries, the company also supplies the metal industry, in particular with deburring and finishing machines for flat material and tubes. The US market is served through the US location MB Machinery Inc. in Waxhaw, North Carolina; a showroom with the ROBA Fusion is set up there in Jasper, Indiana.
