About us
MCTAG GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturing company based in Soyen (Upper Bavaria) serving plant and mechanical engineering, with more than 25 years of experience in metal processing and machining. The company manufactures mechanical components and systems as contract work in small to medium batch sizes, and develops them in-house using the 3D CAD software Autodesk Inventor. Available equipment includes 3-, 4- and 5-axis machining centres (including a Kiheung KNC with X 3300 mm), Gildemeister TWIN 65 CNC lathes with bar feeders, radial drilling machines, NC shapers, as well as a guillotine shear and CNC press brake for sheet metal work. The value chain is complemented by TIG/MAG welding of steel, stainless steel and aluminium, assembly of welded assemblies, sawing, straightening and fine straightening of shafts, press work, clinching and tumble deburring/vibratory finishing. Materials used are steel, stainless steel (e.g. 1.4301) and aluminium. In addition to contract manufacturing, MCTAG has been manufacturing, assembling and testing hydraulic presses — including the horizontally opposed straightening and bending press Synchro-Twin 150-2 and the vertical column press VSP 30-400 — entirely in its own plant for more than five years, including custom versions to customer specification.

CNC milling 3/4/5-axis
Machining up to 3300 mm X travel (Kiheung KNC) as well as 1500/1200/650 mm on the Spinner U-1520, MVC 1100 and Deckel FP 50 CCT.
CNC turning
Two Gildemeister TWIN 65 with 65 mm bar capacity, sub-spindle, driven tools and bar feeder.
CNC bending and cutting
Guillotine shear up to 3000 mm width/3 mm thickness, press braking up to 2500 mm at 2.5 mm thickness.
