About MD Composites Technology

MD Composites Technology GmbH is a development and manufacturing service provider for composite technologies based in Friedeburg, Lower Saxony, and part of the MD Group. Its core competence lies in the development and production of lightweight components made from fiber-reinforced plastics such as GFRP and CFRP. The company's roots are in aircraft manufacturing, from which its processing expertise for composite materials originates. Its range of services includes contract development, engineering, toolmaking and contract manufacturing from small parts to large-scale series. Production methods include hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM), Reaction Injection Moulding (RIM), prepreg processing as well as waterjet cutting, machining, painting and 3D printing. In addition to its own semi-finished products such as COMPILAM and COMPIBOARD, the company manufactures drawing-conform parts for, among others, aviation, wind power, hydropower, medical technology, agricultural technology, electromobility, rail vehicles and marine applications.
