MEC Engineering GmbH is an owner-managed engineering office founded in 2013 and based in Altdorf in the canton of Uri. The company supports industry and the public sector in the specialist fields of CAD planning, structural analysis & FEM, design, visualization and project support – from the first sketch to inspection-ready, production-ready execution. The service portfolio includes 2D and 3D planning for mechanical, steel and plant engineering, structural calculations according to SIA and Eurocode, FEM analyses (strength, stiffness, fatigue) as well as flow simulations (CFD). In addition, photorealistic 3D renderings are created for tenders, permits and sales; the team also supports engineering departments temporarily on-site or remotely.
