MECAL High-tech / Systems is an independent, globally operating engineering service company (contracting engineering) for high-end technology. The company analyses, consults, designs, develops and integrates advanced technology solutions with a focus on semiconductor, nanotechnology and integrated medical applications. Services include mechatronic development, mechanical FEM analyses as well as installation and commissioning of equipment at the customer's site by Install Engineers and Field Technicians. Market-ready solutions emerge from research and development as well as co-makerships with customers – also on the basis of own IP and OEM. One example is the Hummingbird technology for a microscope, developed together with Maastricht UMC+.
