About Meccanica Nova

Meccanica Nova S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of grinding systems based in Zola Predosa near Bologna. The company develops and produces internal grinding machines, external grinding machines, combined internal/external grinding machines and special-purpose grinding machines for applications such as constant-velocity joint cages, CV joints, ball tracks and bearing rings. The manufacturing range extends from single machines to fully automated production cells with integrated loading and unloading. The machines are offered with an in-house CNC control as well as Industry 5.0 functions such as energy monitoring, traceability, remote diagnostics and MES integration. Production takes place in the 10,000 m² plant on the outskirts of Bologna, which covers its own electricity demand via a photovoltaic system. The machines are used, among other things, in aerospace, rail transport, the automotive and medical technology industries as well as in the wind energy sector. Worldwide, the company is represented by sales partners in India and China.
