About Mecklenburger Backstuben
Mecklenburger Backstuben GmbH produces baked goods and confectionery products in Waren (Müritz) according to traditional recipes, combining manual craftsmanship and technology. The range includes bread, rolls and masterpieces, organic baked goods based on raw materials from organic farming (EU Organic Regulation 834/2007) as well as a frozen product range. Marienroggen, an old, re-cultivated grain variety, is grown especially for the company in Wesenberg. For business customers from retail, gastronomy and the social sector, individual varieties, shapes and sizes are created; the company is also known for the development of innovative product and packaging solutions. Deliveries are made daily, fresh and on schedule, with the company's own truck fleet throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and into northern Brandenburg. With around 460 employees, the family-run bakery is one of the larger employers in the region and operates 55 of its own cafés and shops.
