MeCoTec Mess-Regel-Anlagen-Technologie GmbH is a specialised company for industrial water treatment, plant engineering, metrology, control and dosing technology based in Elmshorn (Schleswig-Holstein). For more than 35 years, the specialists working with liquids have been planning, designing and manufacturing complete systems: dosing stations, transfer and TKW filling and discharge stations, WHG storage systems, neutralisation systems and special customer applications. Production uses chemical-resistant plastics such as PE and PVC as well as stainless steel, optionally EX-protected or in container design; in addition, MeCoTec develops its own sensors and controllers (MEPRO-6, MES-3) as well as control cabinets. The service portfolio includes engineering and project planning, pipework, installation and commissioning, water chemistry and conditioning of cooling and boiler water, maintenance and maintenance contracts including WHG inspections, pump overhaul as well as training courses (VDI 2047). As a WHG-certified specialist company, MeCoTec serves customers from the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, energy supply, refineries, the semiconductor and recycling sectors.

As a WHG-certified specialist company, MeCoTec manufactures in accordance with §62 WHG and AwSV and documents projects in a form suitable for approval. WHG inspections with report as well as functional tests of safety equipment are part of the maintenance services.

Company History
- 1990
Founded by Jens Becker in Halstenbek near Hamburg; initial focus on control cabinet construction as well as conductivity and pH metrology.
- 1995
Relocation to a larger company building in Elmshorn; expansion of manufacturing, sensor technology and measurement and control technology.
