About Medical Index
Medical Index GmbH has been developing and manufacturing high-quality X-ray protective clothing at its Bad Rappenau site since 1997. The product range includes front aprons, double aprons, skirt-and-vest sets, dental aprons, children's aprons, patient protection, radiation protection goggles and accessories in 30 models, many sizes, over 40 colors and three protection levels (0.25/0.35/0.50 mmPb). Production is carried out using modern design software and CNC machines for precise processing; the protective clothing is equipped with a special coating to protect against contamination in the operating room. In addition to lead-based protective materials, the company uses the innovative VECTOR X composite material as well as the disinfectant-resistant, halogen-free MATRIX fabric. Customer-specific customizations and consulting complement the standard range; medical index supplies customers worldwide. The company is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Lead-free protective material (patented)
Patented lead-free material in the 3D protection system of the MI-100PP radiation protection goggles.
MATRIX fabric
100 % halogen-free outer material, disinfectant-resistant and cleanable up to 95 °C.
Polyamide
Polyamide hook-and-loop fasteners with high tear and abrasion resistance and balanced stretch properties.
High-strength sewing thread
Thread to shoe and furniture industry standard for long-lasting seams on the protective clothing.
