About Medicke
MEDICKE GmbH is an owner-managed family business from Glauchau (Saxony) that delivers complete building envelopes — facades and roofs — from a single source. Its service portfolio includes pre-construction with 3D visualisation, execution planning according to HOAI LP5 including structural analysis, acoustics and fire protection, in-house manufacturing as well as logistics and installation with its own vehicle fleet and own teams. Facade elements are manufactured from aluminium (including recycled aluminium profiles), steel, plastics, glass, ceramics and fibre-modified concrete; since 2022 the company has produced glass-fibre-modified architectural concrete (GFB) at its Penig site. Production takes place at four automated production sites with 16 machining centres on 20,000 sqm of production space and 70,000 sqm of logistics space, complemented by special constructions such as fire-protection facades, steel railings, roof skylights and sliding door systems. Customers include office and administrative buildings, hotels, shopping centres, residential buildings, trade fairs, universities and healthcare facilities; referenced projects include, among others, the New Beiersdorf Campus Hamburg, Koelnmesse Confex and BioSquare Leipzig. With 404 employees and an annual output of €122 million (2024), Medicke is represented at eight locations.
