About mefro

mefro Metallwarenfabrik Fischbacher GmbH manufactures formed parts and complex assemblies in Rohrdorf (Upper Bavaria) using transfer or progressive die stamping processes from sheet steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The company's own press plant is equipped with punching presses and deep-drawing presses with pressing forces of 250 to 10,000 kN and table dimensions up to 4,000 x 2,000 mm; coil feed systems process sheet metal up to 1,600 mm wide and 6 mm thick. Assembly production is carried out on robotic MIG/MAG welding and robotic spot welding systems, while special wheel assembly systems are used for wheel production. The products are subsequently degreased, iron phosphated and powder coated. The product portfolio comprises three business divisions: forming technology for the automotive industry, steel disc wheels for passenger cars, trucks, agricultural and construction machinery, and transport equipment such as wheelbarrows, sack trucks and snow-clearing equipment. Customers come from the automotive industry, agriculture, construction, commercial vehicle manufacturing and industrial truck manufacturing.
