About Meraxis
Meraxis is an independent partial group of the REHAU Group founded in 2019, headquartered in Muri near Bern (Switzerland) with over 30 locations on all continents. The company distributes polymers and polymer-related products: prime polymers, recyclates, engineering thermoplastics (ETPs), biopolymers, masterbatches and high-temperature thermoplastics, complemented by purchased parts such as machinery, equipment, tools, films, electrical components and metal. In addition to distribution, Meraxis has been producing its own compounds since early 2026 at the acquired compounding plant of the REHAU Group in Velen (North Rhine-Westphalia), including glass-fiber-reinforced compounds with recycled content based on PP and PA. At the Rehau site, the company operates an accredited testing laboratory with 1,250 m² of laboratory space, over 500 testing procedures and 64 accredited methods according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. Customers come from automotive, construction, industrial solutions (furniture manufacturing to transportation systems) and packaging. Digital services such as a customer portal, Track & Trace, EDI, CO2 footprint reporting and AI-supported formulation development (Polymerize) round out the portfolio.
