About Merkle

Merkle GmbH was founded in 1964 in Kötz in Swabia (Bavaria) and has developed into one of the leading manufacturers of manual and automated welding technology. At its headquarters in Kötz near Günzburg, welding equipment, welding torches and welding automation systems are planned, developed and manufactured for the national and international market. Its in-house production covers 7,000 m² of production floor space and includes CNC machining, turning machines, modern enclosure manufacturing, and the production of electronic circuit boards and welding torches. The product range extends from stepped and continuously adjustable MIG/MAG systems to PulseArc and electrode welding inverters, TIG, plasma and robotic welding solutions, and proprietary welding processes such as DeepARC, ColdMIG and HighUP. More than 220 employees at the main plant and 14 branch offices in Germany and Europe, an own training center, an application laboratory, and services such as calibration, maintenance and welding courses round out the offering. Customers come from the trades, automotive workshops, service businesses and industry.
