About META Lagertechnik
META Lagertechnik Ges.m.b.H. has been active in Austria since 1972 as a branch of the META Group, whose origins trace back to the Caspar Schnettler & Co. nail factory founded in 1896. The company plans, supplies and installs stationary and dynamic rack systems: from shelving, pallet, cantilever and wide-span racking to multi-tier platforms and high-bay systems with up to six levels and 15 m height, through to structural steel system platforms. With META-ILS, the company also offers warehouse automation with shuttle systems and conveyor technology. The systems are made of steel, galvanized or coated (including RAL 7035, custom colors), with shelf surfaces made of chipboard or steel grating as well as wire mesh components. The offering includes consulting, planning incl. structural analysis, fire protection and seismic design, 3D room planning, project management, installation, maintenance and certified rack inspection according to EU standard. At the Wiener Neudorf site, 20 employees work with their own warehouse and installation crew; the META Group has around 400 employees in Europe and the USA. Customers come from industry, commerce, logistics, engineering and freight forwarding.
