About Metallguss Sulingen
Metallguss Sulingen GmbH produces workpieces as as-cast parts, semi-finished and fully machined. The main process is sand casting in aluminium and heavy metals; around 75 % of production is accounted for by aluminium casting alloys. In addition, special corrosion- and wear-resistant copper alloys for seawater pumps and bearing technology have been part of the production programme since the founding phase. The value chain extends from casting through machining to pre-assembly, complemented by quality assurance and materials testing. The cast products are manufactured for general mechanical engineering, compressor and pump construction, engine and automotive engineering, valve and gearbox construction, bearing technology, the food and beverage industry, cooler and filter construction, electric motors and power generation as well as aerospace engineering. Production and sales are located at the Sulingen site (Schwafördener Weg 50); the Bremen-based Wilhelm Wibbeling GmbH acted as an engineering office/holding company and was merged with Metallguss Sulingen GmbH in 2023, which continues in operation.
