mevo GmbH is a contract manufacturer specializing in industrial powder coating, based in Dornstadt near Ulm. The company coats workpieces made of steel, aluminium and stainless steel – from individual parts and small batches with color changes up to large parts weighing up to 1.5 t. On 2400 m² of production space, two powder coating lines are available, one of which is specifically for large parts; curing takes place in a natural gas-fired oven system. The color and surface spectrum covers all RAL shades as well as special colors, gloss levels from glossy to matte, and surfaces from smooth to coarse texture; polyester (industrial and GSB façade quality), highly weather-resistant special polyesters, epoxy primers and epoxy-polyesters are used. As a certified member of the Qualitätsgemeinschaft Industriebeschichtung e.V. (QiB), mevo ensures quality through seamless process monitoring before, during and after coating. Customers are mainly found in the automotive and mechanical engineering sectors as well as in the metalworking industry; a pickup and delivery service in the Ulm area within 50 km and just-in-time delivery round out the range of services.
