About MFT Mikrofiltertechnik GmbH
MFT Mikrofiltertechnik GmbH from Geesthacht near Hamburg specializes in tank cleaning, tank inspection and fuel analyses for diesel tanks. Founded in 1993 with the goal of offering alternatives to oil waste through fine filtration, the company serves private customers, fleets and industry throughout Germany and across Europe. Mobile tank cleaning is carried out with a workshop van including intermediate storage tanks of up to 1200 liters; the pumped-out fuel is filtered and, after treatment with the biocide grotamar 82, returned to the tank. Inspection openings are installed without welding, tanks are inspected by camera (endoscopy), and before-and-after conditions are documented. In the laboratory, fuel samples are tested for bacteria, yeasts, molds and oxidation stability (storage life) in accordance with DIN 590. In addition, MFT develops and sells side-stream fine filters (SR), fuel fine filters (MO), diesel additives such as grotamar 82 and InSyPro, and engine interior cleaners through its own online shop. Applications include yacht tanks, ship tanks, trucks, emergency power generators, construction machinery, sports boats, storage tanks and rail vehicles.
