MHZ Hachtel GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1930 and is known as a manufacturer of custom-made visual and sun protection systems. In the late 1950s, company founder Wilhelm Hachtel invented the plastic curtain track, which for the first time combined plastic and wood in a single product. At the technology center of the corporate group in Niederstetten, the MHZ-Kunststofftechnik sales division offers companies from various industries customized services and production from idea to realization: development, design and engineering using networked CAD/CAM systems, injection molding and extrusion production of thermoplastics, tool and mould making, machine and fixture engineering, as well as assembly and machining of aluminium profiles. Tool and mould making covers 2K injection molds, assembly tools, spindle extraction tools as well as pre-series and prototype tools up to a mold size of 500 x 500 mm. Machining is performed on a modern CNC machine fleet from HERMLE, MAHO, Deckel, CHARMILLES, EXERON, Geibel + Hotz, WEILER and CINCOM, supported by wire and sinker EDM, grinding and one-off production.
