About Mickenhagen

Mickenhagen has been developing and manufacturing electric heating elements for industrial applications since 1927. The product range includes nozzle heating bands, mica and ceramic cylinder heating elements, heating plates, frame heating elements, cartridge heaters, coiled tubular heaters, tubular heaters, flexible tubular heaters, screw-in heaters, silicone heating elements, heating crosses, heating-cooling combinations and thermal insulation jackets. The program is complemented by temperature controllers with up to 16 control zones, thermocouples and resistance sensors as well as accessories such as cables, fittings, plugs and ceramic terminals. In addition to standard heating elements for plastics processing machines, the company manufactures customized one-off pieces, small series and special solutions based on drawings, sketches or samples, including on-site measurement and consulting on heating capacity design. Mickenhagen also offers laser contract manufacturing: laser cutting of tubes and profiles as well as laser cutting of sheet metal. The use of thermal insulation can enable energy savings of up to 50 percent.
