About Mikado

MIKADO Model Helicopters GmbH, based in Potsdam, develops, manufactures and distributes radio-controlled model helicopters as well as electronics for model helicopter flight. The product range includes the LOGO helicopter kits in classes from 200 to 800, the VStabi/VBar flybarless stabilization systems, and the VBar Control remote control systems. The helicopters are designed with a lightweight, functional and low-maintenance design and use fibre-reinforced plastic in combination with high-quality mechanical components. Distribution takes place via the company's own online shop with a focus on the DACH region and the European Union; the website is bilingual (German/English). Mikado also offers support for its products and works closely with competition pilots and the community to continuously further develop its systems.

1. 2001

   Start of the VStabi/VBar success story; originally developed by Ulrich Röhr as a private project, the system has been manufactured and distributed by Mikado for over 20 years.
