About MILLWA
MILLWA is a German-Peruvian family business based in Rheinmünster, specialised in the manufacture and wholesale of high-quality knitwear made of the finest alpaca wool. The range includes accessories such as hats, scarves and gloves, sweaters, cardigans and lined coats as well as home accessories such as blankets, cushions and bedding. Production takes place in the company's own atelier in Huancayo in the Peruvian central highlands, where traditional Andean knitting art is practised by hand; in addition, MILLWA works with more than 100 hand knitters and women's cooperatives. The majority of the collection consists of 100 % pure baby alpaca wool without synthetic additives, preferably unbleached in natural tones. Distribution is as B2B wholesale from a warehouse in Germany to specialist retailers throughout Europe, with plastic-free shipping and deliveries bundled into only a few consignments per year.
