Mipa SE is a German manufacturer of paints, coatings and finishes headquartered in Essenbach, Bavaria. The family-owned, unlisted company develops and produces coating systems for automotive refinish paints, industrial applications, construction paints as well as wood and joinery coatings, complementing its product range with painting accessories and aerosols (spray cans). Production takes place at regional sites in Essenbach and Landshut as well as at seven further production and company sites of the Mipa Group in Germany and Europe. Through its own paint retail business Mipa Direkt with 16 branches in Germany, colour identification using colour measurement devices, on-site mixing service even in smallest quantities, and individual spray can filling in 1K, 2K and water-based quality are offered. At its headquarters in Essenbach, the company operates a training centre, with six further training centres existing worldwide. With around 1700 employees, the Mipa Group supplies its own subsidiaries and partners in over 100 countries on all continents; group revenue in 2025 was 325 million euros, and Mipa SE's revenue in 2023 was 283.52 million euros.
