About MIYAWAKI
MIYAWAKI Inc. is a Japanese manufacturer of steam equipment headquartered in Osaka. Founded in 1933, the company produces steam traps (including bucket float, ball float, bimetal temperature control, diaphragm capsule and thermodynamic valve disc types), pressure reducers, condensate pumps, hot water equipment, air vents, separators and accessories for steam and condensate systems. In addition, diagnostic and management systems for steam traps (STC-011, Dr. Trap PM301/PM15/PM500) and testing equipment are developed and manufactured. Production takes place at the headquarters and plant in Osaka; housing materials include stainless steel A182 F304 as well as forged steels such as F91, WC9, A105 and A182 F11. In addition to standard products, MIYAWAKI offers application-specific production with adaptations of face-to-face length, material, operating temperature, operating pressure and flow rate — up to 431 bar and 620 °C. Since the early 1990s, the company has offered a steam trap survey service, which, according to company statements, avoids more than 10,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Through its subsidiary MIYAWAKI GmbH in Frankfurt (Oder), the company serves the German-speaking and European market.
