About MKK
MKK Märkische Kies- und Kalksandsteinwerke GmbH Hennersdorf extracts and processes sands and gravels and produces high-quality moisture-conditioned and dried quartz sand and quartz gravel from them. Processing includes, among other things, wet processing of the sands and gravels; appropriate facilities are available for drying. The minerals are shipped partly via the company's own high-capacity industrial siding with a 650-metre-long loading ramp. In addition, the company manages a PEFC-certified forestry operation. The product portfolio includes dried sand as well as sand and gravel for various applications. The headquarters with plant is located in Hennersdorf, a district of Doberlug-Kirchhain in the Elbe-Elster district in Brandenburg. The managing director is Peter Hentzschel.
