About Modespitze Plauen
Modespitze Plauen GmbH develops and manufactures lace and embroidery for the fields of fashion, home textiles, and technical applications. The traditional manufactory produces as a family business in its fourth generation since 1897 in Plauen and offers qualities based on design, expertise, and technology. The company is one of the important suppliers for embroidery used in women's outerwear, nightwear, and lingerie in Germany. With in-house tailoring, Modespitze produces small specialty collections of home textiles such as curtains, table linens, and decorations, fashion such as shirts and boleros, as well as accessories such as shawls and jewelry. Production is carried out entirely with eco-friendly electricity focusing on hydropower; the range is gradually being converted to certified natural materials (kbA/kbT/vegan), and the ORGANICS collection is certified according to international standards. In the Plauen location, the manufactory, administration, factory sales, and show room are located.
