MODI Modular Digits GmbH, based in Wiehl, has specialized in identification solutions and process optimization for over 30 years, particularly for the electronics and pharmaceutical industries. The company develops and manufactures goods receipt systems (WES V5), code reading systems (IBox), pallet scanning systems (PalletTrace), inspection solutions (PackTrace, TopScan PRO) as well as a balancing unit for pharmaceutical production. Complete hardware and software development as well as system engineering are carried out in-house in Germany, enabling customer-specific integration with ERP, MES and WMS systems. All products are modular in design and cover 100% traceability of batch, lot and date code data from goods receipt to goods dispatch. In addition, MODI offers biometric systems for commercial and government applications as well as training courses and workshops in its own Technology Center (MODI TRACE Arena). As European Master Distributor, MODI represents the reel storage systems of its partner INOVAXE.

Captures all labels with a single image, AI-supported OCR, reel measurement and interfaces to ERP/MES/WMS.
Scanning station
Captures both sides of a component reel simultaneously, autofocus up to 20 cm height, measurement of reel thickness.
Inline code reading system
Link between code scanner and traceability system with SMEMA/Hermes connection for every conveyor line.
Pallet scanning system
Patented technology scans an area of 220 cm height and 120 cm width from 160 cm distance, optionally with OCV inspection.
Inspection and control system
Intelligent control for inspection tasks beyond pure scanning.
Pharma balancing unit
Balances products during production and records samples during media fills in the pharmaceutical industry.
Machine vision technology
High-resolution camera with zoom lens and motorized deflection mirror for object capture.
Robot system
Automates goods receipt inspection and can be docked to any MODI goods receipt system.
