About momac Group
The momac Group is a medium-sized family-owned company based in Moers (NRW), whose roots go back to 1919. The business division egm Elektrotechnik GmbH operates a repair facility for electrical machines: electric motors and generators of all manufacturers are serviced, overhauled, rewound and converted or rebuilt – including explosion-proof motors with ATEX testing, dynamic balancing, test bench inspection, vibration measurement, alignment checks and carbon brush service. The services also include on-site service, removal/installation, transport organisation and replacement machines, including crane motors, travel drives, traction drives and servo motors. Further business areas of the Group are the repair of gearboxes and hydraulic cylinders, the repair of equipment components for steel and metallurgical engineering, contract machining (CNC turning and milling, boring mill machining) and, through its subsidiary momac Robotics, the planning and manufacture of custom robotic systems with ABB, KUKA and Fanuc robots. The 22,000 m² site offers 7,200 m² of crane-equipped production halls; components up to 10 tonnes unit weight are machined.
