Monopol Colors AG, headquartered in Fislisbach (canton of Aargau), is a paint factory with its own laboratory and produces facade paints, industrial coatings and corrosion protection systems for steel, aluminium and plastic. In the Color Lab, color designers and technicians develop individual custom colors together with architects based on pigments, pastes and powders. Via its Colors on demand service, the company produces 32'000 color shades in batches of 5 to 500 kg and delivers within one day for orders placed by 10 a.m., including to Paris, Rome, Vienna and Hamburg. The product range includes fluoropolymer coatings based on Lumiflon (AAMA 2605), coil coating solutions with anodized-look finishes, the high-performance paint The Coolest White, and the Qualiprotec refurbishment system for metal facades with a 10-year warranty. As an official Hempel sales partner, Monopol Colors covers corrosion protection according to ISO 12944 in corrosivity categories C1 to C5h, CX and Im1–Im4. Reference projects include Zurich Airport, the Mercedes-Benz Museum Stuttgart, the Würenlos motorway bridge and the Gleisbogenpasserelle in Zurich.
