About us
monos GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Koblenz, is a manufacturer of technical custom luminaires and object luminaires for almost all indoor applications. Our experience in the field of lighting, luminaires and electrical engineering goes back to 1930; since 2008 we have been developing and manufacturing LED luminaires. A particular strength is the production of custom luminaires, even in small and medium batch sizes. In the craft-oriented production in Istanbul (Pan Aydinlatma ve Elk. San. Tic. Ltd. Sti.), luminaires are made from aluminium and sheet steel; production is supported by modern machinery and includes laser cutting, press braking, sawing, welding, surface treatment, powder coating and final assembly. In addition to custom luminaire manufacturing, monos offers legally compliant LED retrofitting of existing luminaires of all luminaire brands as well as lighting design in accordance with DIN EN 12464-2. The luminaires manufactured in Europe are used in around 1000 projects every year, ranging from administration, education and healthcare to cleanrooms, retail and public buildings.

monos luminaires are photometrically measured in our own laboratory and comply with high European safety standards. The recessed luminaires are GS-certified (Intertek, No. 23ISL1282-01, valid until 2029-06-15); further documentation includes RoHS, REACH, ISO 14644-1/-2/-3 for cleanrooms as well as ear registration.
