About MOSS Objects
MOSS Objects is an independent luminaire brand from Berlin that develops architectural LED pendant luminaires with clear structural design and sculptural restraint. The Emily, Dune and Kosmos collections comprise individual pendant luminaires as well as pre-configured groups (Group of Three to Nine) and modular systems in Curve, Cluster, Spiral and Vertical-Line configurations. Production takes place in cooperation with specialised craft workshops in Germany; Emily shades are shaped by hand in Berlin from 1 mm sheet steel, Dune uses aluminium shades with polycarbonate diffusers and integrated LED modules, and Kosmos combines hand-polished stainless steel profiles with opal glass spheres. Materials include aluminium, brass, steel, stainless steel, iron with rust patina, oak as well as diffusers made of acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate, opal and quartz glass. All luminaires are individually electrically tested before shipping and delivered with complete technical documentation; for North America projects, UL listing to UL 1598 is optionally available.
