About MOStron Elektronik
MOStron Elektronik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing custom industrial electronics at its Viersen site since 1980. The portfolio includes embedded systems, industrial computers, motherboards, assemblies, HMI displays, electronic indicators and panel PCs, as well as complete solutions for display and digital signage applications. In the display segment, the company manufactures solutions ranging from monochrome character and graphic modules through TFT modules to OLED, e-paper and large-format TFT displays, with resistive or capacitive touch, anti-glare protective glass with screen printing to customer specifications, and optical bonding. An in-house design department handles design-in as well as mechanical and electronic design, including custom enclosures for industrial computers. Before delivery, the devices undergo a 24-hour stress test in the heat chamber. The approximately 45 employees serve industries such as digital signage, convention centres, the hotel and seminar sector, and the judiciary. Since early 2024, the site has been operating without fossil energy, using its own photovoltaic system, heat pump and battery storage.
