About MOVE ON Energy
MOVE ON Energy is a project developer and operator of solar power plants based in Neukieritzsch (Lobstädt) in the Leipzig district. The company develops, implements and operates holistically conceived ground-mounted photovoltaic systems and provides all services from a single source: site acquisition and land securing, permitting procedures, construction management and construction logistics, as well as technical and commercial operations management including maintenance, inspection and accounting after commissioning. Implementation takes regional conditions into account and involves local companies in order to increase value creation in the site region. The best-known project is the Witznitz Energy Park with an installed capacity of 650 megawatts, which according to company statements is the largest non-subsidised solar park in Europe and has been feeding 605 megawatts into the 50Hertz transmission grid since 25 March 2024. With this project, the former lignite mining region in the Leipzig district has been sustainably upgraded. The company sees itself as a partner for the energy future and combines solar energy generation with climate protection.
