Muckenhaupt & Nusselt GmbH & Co. KG is a specialty cable plant based in Wuppertal (Paul-Gerhardt-Strasse 25). Manufacturing includes, among other things, the extrusion of cables and wires, with copper used as the conductor material. For quality assurance, the company has its own in-house testing laboratory in which cables and materials are tested against the loads required in actual use; before delivery, every cable is checked in the testing field. Fields of application include agricultural technology/forestry, elevator and conveyor technology, automation, renewable energies, crane and lifting technology, robotics, event technology and other special applications. Quality management has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1993, and a certified environmental management system has been in place since 1998 (EC Eco-Audit, now DIN EN ISO 14001:2015). Delivery is ex works Wuppertal; pricing is based on a daily updated copper price index.
