About Müller Plastik
Müller Plastik GmbH is a family company founded in 1980, now run by the second generation, headquartered in Wipperfürth (Kupferberg). The company assembles PVC, PUR, silicone, rubber and neoprene cables as well as coiled cables (spiral cables) in customer-specific configurations and manufactures plug connection cables and special plug cables for various industries. A core area is the overmoulding of insert parts, cables, metal and contact parts, strain-relief sleeves and cable glands – with a specialism in sealing components up to protection class IP68. Since 1995 the company has had its own toolmaking department with a design division for complex injection moulds, elastomer moulds, hot-runner technology and 2K tools. Since 2012, Müller Plastik has developed and manufactured charging cables for electric vehicles and is a series supplier to various automotive manufacturers worldwide. The product range includes Schuko, CEE and appliance plugs, international plugs, distributors, Q-Tplugs and pluggable electrical installations. Over 190 employees work on around 6000 m² of floor space; delivery is worldwide.

Quality assurance is computer-aided with 100% inspection and modern testing equipment such as a metallography laboratory, flexural fatigue testing fixture, tensile-compression tester and profile projector. - 1980
Founded on 01.06.1980 by Elmar and Marlies Müller in Lüdenscheid; production of mains connection cables on 500 m² of floor space.
- 1990
Construction start of the new production halls in Kupferberg.
- 1991
Relocation with around 40 employees to Kupferberg on 3500 m² of floor space.
- 1993
Michael Müller takes over commercial management; establishment of an in-house toolmaking department with a design division.
