About Multistopper®

Multistopper® is an Austrian manufacturer of the eponymous underlay strip, patented in 2014, made of 100% medical silicone that secures cutting boards in professional kitchens against slipping. The raised, stackable strip ensures constant under-ventilation and a permanently dry underside of the cutting board, protects both cutting board and work surface, and replaces unhygienic wet cloths. The silicone underlay strip is food-safe (post-curing at 180 °C for 4 hours), dishwasher-resistant for at least 5000 washing cycles at 80 °C, heat-resistant up to 180 °C, and resistant to chemicals, water and dirt. In addition to the silicone strip, Multistopper® distributes milled, perfectly flat PE500 cutting boards in cooperation with Gradwohl. Distribution takes place via the company's own online shop as well as partnerships with hygiene and gastronomy providers such as einfach|HYGIENE and Let'sGastro. Customers include gastronomy, hotels, professional kitchens and large-scale catering; the product is manufactured 100% in Austria.
