Since 1985, Mundorf EB GmbH has been developing and manufacturing high-quality components for music reproduction in Cologne. The portfolio includes capacitors (film, metallized film, electrolytic), coils (air-core coils made of round, rectangular and flat wire, core coils with Aronit or Feron), Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters, resistors from the MResist family, wires, stranded wires, terminals and solder. The focus is on reducing macro- and micro-microphonic effects: vacuum impregnation, oil impregnation, baked-enamel wire bonding, tough-elastic potting and patented conductor alloys such as Angelique Copper (copper-silver-gold) optimize the resonance behavior of the components. Materials used include copper, silver, gold, aluminum, tin, polypropylene, vacuum-impregnated paper and Aronit core material. In addition, the company offers crossover design, PCB layout support, sound analysis, sample production and supply chain management.
