The specialist for decentralized automation technology
Murrelektronik specializes in decentralized electrical automation technology and develops, produces, and distributes installation systems for machines and systems that bring signals, data, and power directly to the process, making control cabinets redundant. The portfolio includes connectors and cables (connectivity), passive and active distributors, I/O systems such as MVK and Cube67, power supplies, network technology, and the cabinet-free module system Vario-X. In addition, the company offers digital services for installation, commissioning, and maintenance, network planning, EMC testing, as well as custom cable and connector specifications. The Murrelektronik Group employs over 3,200 people in more than 50 countries and operates four global production and logistics sites with over 32,000 m² of production and logistics space. Customers come from industries such as automotive, food & beverage, intralogistics, robotics, machine tools, packaging, mobile applications, and renewable energy. The Austrian branch at Vienna Airport (Schwechat) serves as a hub for Central and Eastern Europe.
