MWK Werkzeug- und Vorrichtungsbau Chemnitz GmbH is a CNC contract manufacturer producing precision components and custom-made parts to drawing and customer specification. Its range of services covers CNC milling, CNC turning, surface, cylindrical external and internal grinding as well as wire and sinker EDM; where required, several machining processes are combined into an economical complete machining solution. Production ranges from single parts to small and medium series for customers in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, tool and mould making, automotive engineering and other industrial sectors. Materials machined include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals, tool steels, hardened materials and plastics. The company was founded in 1992 out of the toolmaking department of the Chemnitz-based company Elite Diamant; the high dimensional accuracy and precision of classic tool and jig making still shape its production today. In addition, MWK manufactures and maintains custom tools and jigs, including fine blanking, punching, bending and compound tools. Customers include, among others, Diamant Fahrradwerke and Scherdel Feinschneidtechnik GmbH. The company is located at Bessemerstraße 7 in Chemnitz.
