About MWN Niefern
MWN Niefern Maschinenfabrik GmbH, headquartered in Niefern-Öschelbronn near Pforzheim, has specialised in the manufacture of innovative rolls since 1909. The product range includes suction rolls and suction roll shells, press rolls, spreader rolls and other functional rolls for paper, paperboard, pulp, film and nonwovens. Manufacturing comprises deep-hole drilling, roll turning, roll grinding and dynamic balancing of rolls, complemented by new design, conversion and modernisation on modern 3D-CAD systems. According to the company's own statements, machine speeds of up to 2500 m/min and web widths of up to 12 m are achieved in practical applications. With around 95 employees, 7600 sqm of production space and its own sales office for North and South America, MWN supplies all renowned paper mills worldwide; to date, approximately 400 complete suction rolls and 2000 suction roll shells have been delivered.
