MZ Glastechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a glass processing company founded in 2001 by Thomas Zitzmann and Wolfgang Mehr in Lauscha/Ernstthal, Thuringia. The company manufactures glass spirals and glass spiral sensors, among other things for Bosch-Siemens-Hausgeräte, as well as glass apparatus according to customer requirements. Further services include the coating of glass lenses and sensors, the sawing and drilling of glass as well as adhesive bonding and edge fusion. In addition, services such as quality inspections of glass articles in the cosmetics and perfume sector are offered. Customers are small and medium-sized as well as large manufacturing companies from the technical and manufacturing glass industry, the cosmetics and perfume industry and the household appliance industry. At the Lauscha OT Ernstthal site, 1800 m² of production and storage space is available; currently 25 employees are employed full-time.
