The Company
MZO GmbH is a medium-sized, DIN ISO 9001-certified machining company based in Oberkochen. Emerging from Metallzerspanung Ostalb, founded in 1997, the company has specialised in the manufacture of high-quality turned, milled and gearing parts for precision mechanics. On more than 3,200 sqm of production space, around 55 employees operate a machine park of 20 CNC systems, some fully automated with robot functions, to machine complex high-precision parts from castings and solid stock. The gearing production encompasses gears, sprockets, worms, racks, spline shafts, involute splines and special profiles. Its customers come primarily from medical technology, metrology, the optical industry, mechanical engineering as well as aviation and aerospace technology. Services include an in-house deburring department, a climate-controlled measuring room with three Zeiss measuring machines as well as surface coatings via certified partners.
